Since I arrived in January 2007, I have been making many friends on campus. I have friends that pour into me and I pour into them. I have friends from Kenya, India, Asia, Japan, Australia, Germany, and many other countries. My mind is being broadened to understand more about the cultures, traditions, and religions of many other countries. I am learning about their hardships and their many blessings. Many of my friends share the same vision-to make a difference for the next generation. I am very blessed to have so many people to learn from and experience life with.

I think our most powerful gatherings are when we gather together for prayer. I called everyone together for prayer on a Tuesday. I called probably 30 people, but only 6 showed up. There were many testimonies. One girl that was praying felt a hand on her back and she knew it was the Lord. Her head became very hot and then she felt something drip down her head and it smelt like incense. The anointing oil of the Lord fell on her and then we both left in a roar of laughter. We had the joy of the Lord and had a hard time going back to the dorms. Another girl found out what the Lord wanted her to major in. What a good God we serve. I hope you enjoy the updates.
